In 1995 I ruined my holiday in Queensland by taking a day trip to Fraser Island. The guide warned us not to feed the dingoes and told us that while these dogs appeared emaciated and skeletal, this was how they were supposed to be. He also said that they were in the habit of eating their pups and each other.
